So the other day at work I got beat up by a 1991 Ford Ranger emergency brake. How does something like this happen you may ask. Well let me tell you. I was testing this truck and part of the safety test is to test the emergency brake so I did but it got stuck and would not release. It was the kind that you have to push down real hard with your foot then you pull a lever to release it. Well it wasn't releasing and we played around with it for 10 minutes and could not figure out why it was not releasing. Everything seemed to be hooked up. So I get underneath the dashboard to take a closer look with a flash light and as I am moving covers out of the way to get a better look, WHAAAAAMMMM!!!! The emergency brake releases on its own and smacks me right in the mouth. I suffered a fat lip and 2 cracked teeth. Yes, it hurt for days. The morale of this story is to never own a Ford. I go in next week to get my teeth fixed.
