Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter! Katelyn was so excited about her easter basket! When she saw it she put her hands up to her face and screamed! After church we went to Grandma and Grandpa Thomas' and had dinner and a little Easter egg hunt!

Easter Eggstreme!

We took Katelyn to the Easter egg hunt at Thanksgiving Point this year! It was super crowded! They had four different Easter egg hunts for the different age groups and hundreds of eggs. They eggs still managed to disappear in about ten seconds. Katelyn only found two of the eggs. But she didn't seem to mind because they had "nandy" in them.

They had several activities and games there also. We didn't have enough patience to wait in line for them all though. We waited in line for about forty five minutes for this lovely balloon that popped about twenty minutes later. She loved it though so it was worth it!

Our little Angel!

So we have been staying at my parents house for the last week trying to keep things under control while they are away on vacation. And twice this week while we have all been sitting around the table for dinner Katelyn has stopped what she was eating, looked at me with folded arms and would say her little " uh uh". Who would of thought that my little 21 month old would have to be the good example at the dinner table, and remind her mom that we forgot to say the prayer?! I guess sometimes you don't realize just how much they notice. I am so grateful she is my daughter and for the great little example she already is! What an angel!

Easter Eggs on St. Patricks!

I love Easter its one of my favorite holidays. I don't like it as much when it comes in march though. It is still too cold, and I skipped right over St. Patricks and moved right on in to Easter! For family night last night we let Katelyn dye Easter eggs! She loved it but, did not love to have help. She did pretty good! She only broke two out of twelve!

Still got it!!

So on Saturday the 15th of March Brighton High School's soccer team had an alumni game. They invited some of the players who have played for them in the past to play in a game against their current varsity team. Well there were only about 7 guys older than me on the team and even though we were all out of shape we still managed to beat their team. So I guess they're right, old people, although slow and dangerous behind the wheel, still can serve a purpose.
