Gone Fishin'

Grandpa took us fishing this past week, on his fishing boat up at Strawberry. We got up there a little late but, caught seven fish! We had a few more bites but, those lucky fish got away! I caught three all within five minutes! So fun! Thanks Dad!

We just spent a week on the beach with the whole family. We had too much fun! Thanks for such a fun trip Mom and Dad. We love you.

Things to be remembered from this trip...

the doughnut shop pretty much every morning (majorly regretting that now)

Katelyn- Absolutely loved the beach!! You loved the water for a whole ten minutes, until a waved splashed you. Then not so much. You sure loved playing in the sand, and were always so good at the beach!

Beckam- You liked the sand for about an hour everyday...then you were done. I don't know how you got soooo sandy. I swear a week later I am still finding sand in your ears!! You pretty much ate about a cup worth of sand, during the week!

I also was able to do a session in the Newport temple. Such a beautiful temple. On the temple grounds there are tons of little cotton tailed bunnies that just hop around. My friend Shauna went through for her first time, and was nice enough to let us tag along. Such a great experience! And a am so happy and proud of you Shauna!

Look Who's Walking

So there I was at work when I noticed that this lady had her kid on a leash! Who in their right mind would put their kid on a leash? They are not dogs! You can tell from the picture that the kid is trying desperately to get off the leash. Kids Say The Darndest Things!

It is unbelievable the things kids say. As all of you know we have a daughter that talks non stop. In the last few months she has said some things that have just made us laugh, so I thought I would share some of them with all of you.
1. A few months ago Katelyn was having problems going #2 and after a push she looked up at Heather and said, "I think there taking a nap"
2. The other day I was driving and we were running late and so I was driving fast and Katelyn in the back seat says, "Daddy, Why are you driving so fast? Are you retarded? Were going to have to put you on the side of the road"
3. My parents watched Katelyn yesterday and they told us that my dad was pushing the stroller and kind of making it swerve back and forth and katelyn said, "Cut it out Lynn"
4. We were driving home from eating out at a restaurant about a month ago and Katelyn was just terrible the whole time at dinner. On the way home she started whinning again so I told her she was making me mad and she immediately responded with, "again?"

Google does it again

Ok, so I have google analytics installed on our blog so we can see how many visits we get and how they find our blog. Well I figured out that a few people have stumbled across our blog with googling "the world's talelst weeds" and "the world's tallest marijuana". Apparently the posting we did years ago on our neighbors weeds had a big effect. So if you're bored google the world's tallest weeds and see what site comes up first.
