Kangaroo Zoo

We went to the Kangaroo Zoo this weekend with some friends and had lots of fun! Its a big warehouse with lots of different blow up slides and obstacle courses. Katelyn loved it. Although would get very annoyed when the big boys would come around her. She went on lots of slides, and yes I hiked up the twenty foot slide nine months pregnant carrying her so she could go on the big one. Sooo worth it though!!

Cousins!!

We had a long but fun day yesterday! We got to go watch our little niece play in her soccer game! We also spent alot of time on the playground with Kate's cousins. She just loves to be with them. They had lots of fun!! After Kim and Guy came over to help put in a new door way for Katelyns new room. They worked so hard a did such a wonderful job!! We could never have done it without them!! Thanks Kim and Guy!!

Happy Birthday to Spencer!!

Spencer turned the big 25 yesterday!! I asked what he wanted to do for his birthday and he said he just wanted to do nothing! So he spent most of his day watching movies on his new projecter that he got for his birthday. Since Katelyn was involved he had to put on Shrek about three times. And amazingly she sat and watched the whole thing, I couldnt beleive it! Don't worry, I didnt let him sit down in the basement all day long. We did celebrate by going to dinner and a movie. I hope you had a very Happy Birthday Spencer!! Love you!

One hard working man!!

I feel that I need to give a shout out to my amazing husband! He has been so busy lately working sixty hour weeks ( his choice ), playing on two soccer teams, working in young mens, and finishing up his finals for the semester. While I am getting very anxious to get things done for the baby, he has found time to help finish up Katelyns new room. He started building the shelves for her closet yesterday and did an amazing job! It looks like he actually knew what he has doing :)!! Thanks babe for all your hard work! Now on to the next project!

My little helper!

We have been so busy these last few weeks. I don't know why I have been feeling like I have so much to do, and so little time to do it in before the baby gets here, because I still have five weeks left! But one thing I don't have to worry about is Katelyn being a great big sister. I watch my little sisters baby once a week and Kate is such a great helper. She loves to hold her, and talk to her, and likes to give her the binki when she needs it. Its so fun to watch her. Not to say that she doesn't get jealous of her but, hopefully this will ease her into the whole new baby thing! The other day every time I came to check on Baylee she would have a new random toy with her ! Katelyn kept bringing her stuff to play with, and some were... a little too big! Its the thought that counts right! What a sweetie!

Too many!

Katelyn just loves all of her stuffed animals! She has to sleep with every single one! And she usually knows if you forget to put one in with her. Well, she has so many they are starting to take up all the room in her crib and there is no more space for her tiny little body. I guess this is why she has resorted to sleeping like this!

21!

A couple of weeks ago Heatehr and I went and saw 21 with Justin and Laurie. I loved the movie! It's about card counting and turning the odds in favor of the player in Blackjack. As I was watching the movie I thought, "Being the genius/nerd I am, I could make a computer program that would count cards for me and tell me what the count is at and what the chances of getting each card are." So a couple of nights ago I wrote a program that did just that and it works like a charm. So for all of your enjoyment here is a link to the program. http://www.nrjsurveillance.com/cardCounting.exe.
Instructions for the program: Each time a card is dealt type in the value of that card. 2-9 for 2-9, 10 for 10 & face cards, and 11 for aces. They say you should bet when the true count is +2 but I would wait for +3 to get better odds.
