Thanksgiving!

We had such a fun Thanksgiving weekend! We went to St. George with Spencer's family for a couple of days. We got to go four wheeling, swimming, and had a very yummy turkey dinner! In spite of all the screaming and chaos from the little people, we managed to have a lot of fun! Katelyn loves to be around all of her cousins, she always has so much fun. I like it too because they make great babysitters! Thanks Kim and Guy for hosting such a fabulous weekend and sharing your beautiful home!

Nicole brought down a camera scavanger hunt that was really fun! We divided into two teams, had a really long list of words, and two hours to drive around town and take pictures of these words how ever we interpreted them! The only rule was everyone had to be in the picture except for the person taking the picture. When we got back we shared both teams pictures! It was funny to see how similar our ideas were! I put just a few of our teams pictures below labled with the word !

Carving pumpkins!

On my birthday we had Matt and Nicole over for a Halloween dinner, and to carve pumpkins! Katelyn was really into it but, she the like the pumpkin carving tools much better than the actual pumpkins!

Gasiks Graveyard!

Spencers sister Amy had a very fun Halloween party this year! There were lots of fun costumes and some very spooky food! Thanks for such a fun night guys!

Voted scariest costume by Katelyn! Of all the costumes this scared her the worst!

Kate was a little ladybug, she was so cute!

But by the end of the night...I don't know what she was.

Picking Pumpkins!!!

This year we had lots of fun picking out our pumpkins! We went to an actual patch and got to pick them ourselves. This will be a new tradition at our house, it was so much fun! Thanks to Nicole for taking these fun pictures of Kate!

Great Balls of Fire!!!

Does seeing this make you feel like less of a man? Any ways this was a pig that we saw at YEE HAW. They said it weighed 1200 pounds!! To give you a perspective on this, those are about the size of basketballs. We did more than just be awed by the huge pig balls. Here are some of the pics. Enjoy

The Witches are Out!

We went to visit the witches at gardner village today but, for some reason the pony ride was much more scary to Katelyn than any of the witches!

Because I'm white.........

I was thinking about discrimination today. Who really does get discriminated against? Doesn't it seem like white people are the most discriminated against? Native Americans get health care benefits and if your even part Navajo you can get a full ride scholarship to just about any college you want. They also get land from the government that's suppose to be for preserving their heritage but they use it for gambling. Last time I checked I never got health care benefits because I am white, I never got a scholarship because I am white, the government never gave me land because I am white. Even black people have "black colleges" and special scholarships for black people and if they don't get a job they can claim it's because there black. If something doesn't go their way it's because they are black. Latin people have a Latin pride day. What if there was a white pride day? Latinos get to come to the US and get free health care and get money from our government and there not even here legally. So what benefits do we get for being white?
