Because I'm white.........

I was thinking about discrimination today. Who really does get discriminated against? Doesn't it seem like white people are the most discriminated against? Native Americans get health care benefits and if your even part Navajo you can get a full ride scholarship to just about any college you want. They also get land from the government that's suppose to be for preserving their heritage but they use it for gambling. Last time I checked I never got health care benefits because I am white, I never got a scholarship because I am white, the government never gave me land because I am white. Even black people have "black colleges" and special scholarships for black people and if they don't get a job they can claim it's because there black. If something doesn't go their way it's because they are black. Latin people have a Latin pride day. What if there was a white pride day? Latinos get to come to the US and get free health care and get money from our government and there not even here legally. So what benefits do we get for being white?

We just hiked up to Timpanogos Cave and thought we would share some pictures. All the formations in the cave were just amazing!!

Naked Baby !!!

I thought you might like to hear about our funny moment of the day! Well, this morning I layed Kate down with a bottle so she would take her nap. A little while later I could hear her talking to herself but, I just fugured she would lay there for awhile longer and then fall asleep. About ten minutes later she was still talking to herself and she was now starting to cry so I decided to go check on her. When I opened the door she just started to laugh, I walked around her bed to see what she had been up to the last ten minutes and what she thought was so funny. And to my surprise she was butt naked!! She had taken all of her clothes off including her diaper and had thrown them all over board!! We still can't stop laughing about it!

Mmmmm...Chocolate!

Kate has entered a new stage in life! It's where she thinks she needs to feed herself everything. So... this is what we get just about every day. Lovely!

Newport Beach!!!

We just spent the past week in Newport Beach, California ! It was lots of fun, except for the part when Kate was sick. Sadly, she got a really bad sunburn that made her sick for about half of the trip. So, I got to spend half of the time in the condo taking care of sweet Katelyn. We were able to spend time on the beach, and swim in the ocean. We also went to six flags and went on some pretty scary rollercoasters! As always though it is nice to be home!

World's Tallest......

Yes, this is our neighbor's 7 foot weed jungle. Our neighbor that lives down the street started to pull the weeds so then Heather gave me the guilt trip so I joined in and then the bishop saw us and joined in and then the neighbor across the street joined in. So it was like a weed pulling party. By the way, nobody lives in this house yet and that really good lookin guy by the weeds is me! Arent we lucky that we live next door to the tallest weeds in Lehi?

Reaffirm the faith

I have a story that will reaffirm your faith. So on Saturday night (July 14) Lynn and Cherie watched Katelyn for us while Heather and I went up to Heber for her dad's birthday. When we came back Cherie told us that Katelyn had pointed to Becky's picture and said "Becky!". Well, I didn't really believe her because we have never really even told Katelyn the word "Becky" and she has never really seen a picture of her so I thought that was impossible. About 2 minutes later, Katelyn walked up to the picture of Becky that was on the floor next to the stairs, smiled, pointed, and said, "Becky!". It wasn't mumbled or garbled. She said it as clear as anybody. All four of us were silent for a minute and just looked at each other in amazement and shock. I think we were all questioning ourselves if she really had just said that. I just thought that you guys would like to read about this and know that Katelyn and Becky know each other and that this proves that there is a life before and after this one.
